Seeran Review: With men sitting around we see professor setting them goals. As with happens we see the one guy different from the others. So he is going to be that for sure. ‘I am here to work’. ‘The truth is that I don’t like people much and they don’t much like me’. The scene when he wants to find an algorithm to find the movement of the pigeons. A friend calls him a psycho, all great mindsd are like that for sure. Reminded of Tamil film Ramanujam (2015), where he will try to find the angle through which the birds form the V-shape. ‘Classes will dull your mind’.
The time when he sees the girl in the bar is the top (Fluid exchange, ‘Have a nice night ass hole’). As the film moves on there was this question in my mind, why any great system is always opposing the geniuses. Ramanujam from Madras to London didn’t feel great with the more advanced system. Of course he had people who could understand his language, but though it did not render a great help to him. ‘Adam smith is wrong’.
The cinematography gave a great support to the emotions. For example when he comes after seeing the blonde girl to the chair by the window I could feel the heat inside him, as the camera comes away snow is cold. Though things change I meant I felt the heat. ‘Lost his grip on reality’.
When in the veranda his friend advices him -‘There are other things besides work’, he would say, ‘what are they?’ Can you imagine how should he feel if he forget digits? ‘Because your mind is the problem in the first place’ ‘Would you hurt me John?’ ‘They are wrong John, no one wins’ ‘Besides you are a terrible teacher’.
Brilliant film. Our mind is beautiful as a whole.
